Edukasi Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Penyakit Berbasis Masyarakat
Abstract
Clean and healthy living behavior education is a cornerstone of community-based disease prevention, particularly for infections strongly associated with water, sanitation, hygiene, and daily habits. This library research synthesizes authoritative global and Indonesian references on PHBS and community sanitation approaches to formulate a practical community education model. Using thematic content analysis, the study identifies core intervention domains—hand hygiene, safe water and household food management, sanitation behavior change, waste management, and community mobilization—along with recommended delivery strategies and measurable indicators. The paper proposes a staged community education framework that integrates behavior change facilitation, local cadres, and household-level monitoring to reduce preventable diseases and improve community health resilience.
