Peningkatan Literasi Digital Masyarakat Melalui Pelatihan Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi di Desa Terpencil

Abstract

Digital literacy is increasingly essential for citizens to access information, public services, and economic opportunities safely. However, remote villages often face layered obstacles: limited infrastructure, lower access to learning resources, and higher vulnerability to digital risks such as fraud, privacy leakage, and misinformation. This paper is a library research that synthesizes authoritative reports and conceptual frameworks on digital literacy and community training models, with a focus on remote-village contexts. Using thematic content analysis, the study identifies: (1) core definitions and competence domains of digital literacy; (2) the Indonesian context of internet growth and digital society readiness; (3) typical challenges in remote areas; and (4) recommended training designs suitable for low-connectivity communities. The paper proposes a practical conceptual model of “training–skills–empowerment” that can guide future community service programs and empirical studies.
